JPC Partners is looking for a TOS Implementation Manager that will lead the end-to-end deployment of Terminal Operating Systems across one or more port or terminal facilities. This role ensures successful planning, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support of TOS solutions, aligning with operational goals and IT standards. The manager acts as a bridge between vendors, internal stakeholders, and operational teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and future-ready systems. Key Responsibilities: Project Management
Lead TOS implementation projects from initiation to completion
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, operations, engineering, and vendors
Documentation
Create and maintain documents describing the terminal process before and after the TOS implementation, including Gate, Yard and Vessel operations, among other functions
Metrics
Implement key performance indicators of the terminal operations to measure the TOS success:
Berth Productivity
Crane Productivity
Container Rehandling Rate
Truck Turnaround Time, etc.
System Configuration & Integration
Oversee system setup, customization, and integration with ERP, gate systems, yard equipment, truck appointment, and other technologies
Ensure data migration, interface development, and system testing are executed effectively
Stakeholder Engagement
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and status updates
Training & Change Management
Develop training materials and lead user training sessions
Support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of the new system
Go-Live & Post-Implementation Support
Manage go-live activities including cutover planning, issue resolution, and performance monitoring
Provide ongoing support and optimization post-implementation
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in systems implementation
5+ years of experience in TOS implementation or terminal operations is a plus
Strong understanding of terminal workflows (yard, gate, vessel, rail) is beneficial
Experience with complex systems in an essential business
Excellent project management skills (PMP certification a plus)
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Logistics, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Skills:
Experience in logistics, container operations, bulk, or RoRo terminal environments
Familiarity with EDI, OCR, RFID, and automation technologies
