Business Analyst

JPC Partners is looking for a Business Analyst to support their Salesforce CPQ implementation teams. As a Business Analyst specializing in Business Process Modeling and Salesforce, you will be pivotal in analyzing and improving business processes, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements, and ensuring successful Salesforce project delivery aligned with our organizational objectives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Leverage your expertise in business process modeling techniques, such as BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation), to analyze and document current and future-state business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and elicit, analyze, and document business needs and objectives related to Salesforce implementations
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical requirements, ensuring clarity, completeness, and alignment with best practices and industry standards
  • Create and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) that foster clear communication and understanding among stakeholders
  • Apply your knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies to ensure successful project delivery within the chosen framework
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, facilitating effective communication, clarifying requirements, and ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, Salesforce features, and CPQ enhancements, actively seeking opportunities to optimize business processes and improve efficiency
EDUCATION, SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • 4+ years of experience working as a Business Analyst, with a focus on business process modeling and business requirements documentation
  • Proficiency in Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN)
  • Extensive experience working with both waterfall and agile methodologies, adept at applying the appropriate approach for requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation
  • Experience working on CRM implementations with experience gathering requirements across multiple business functions and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally and with stakeholders at various levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify business needs, evaluate potential solutions, and propose effective strategies for Salesforce implementations
ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE:
  • Direct marketing and/or nonprofit industry experience is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce CRM platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and CPQ, with hands-on experience in defining detailed requirements for these modules, is preferred.
