JPC Partners is looking for a Data Scientist that will help drive the technological exploration of AI related technologies/solutions to address current and future business opportunities. This person must have strong experience with prompt engineering, using a variety of data mining/ analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building, and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, and creating/running simulations. They must have a proven ability to drive business results with their data-based insights. They must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes. Responsibilities:
Interact and expand capacities of LLMs
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions
Mine and analyze company and external datasets to drive predictions and actions
Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and execute data wrangling techniques.
Create dashboards of liability assessments
Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
Skillsets and Experience:
Experience using statistical computer languages (Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
Strong understanding of AI/ML cloud services and infrastructure, including how to leverage them and experience with SaaS infrastructure technologies (AWS/Azure preferred)
Experience with fraud detection a plus
Ability to quickly assimilate, organize, analyze, abstract, and synthesize large amounts of information and to make decisions based on this analysis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present and explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Comfortable working in a dynamically and changing environment.
Comfortable working with loosely defined requirements where you exercise your creativity and analytical skills to deliver best in class solutions
