Cloud Engineer
Audubon, PAJPC is looking for a Cloud Engineer that will focus on the delivery of IT services for Cloud, wired network, wireless network, VPN solutions and Cyber security solutions, network connectivity, security, resilience, reliability, troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including firewalls, VPN concentrators, routers, and switches. Additionally, this role will support Cloud integration efforts and architecture utilizing a variety of tools and techniques while providing insight and guidance to any identified architecture issues

- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for all Cloud & networking technologies with participation in key decision support processes for the current/new technologies
- Provide technical decision support of Security-related matters for the configuration, deployment, and management of the Network Infrastructure in a 24x7x365 environment
- Cloud infrastructure automation
- Chef (basic syntax, recipes, cookbooks) and Ansible (basic syntax, tasks, playbooks)
- Terraform basic syntax and GitLab CI/CD configuration, pipelines, jobs
- Cloud resources provisioning and configuration through CLI/API
- Kubernetes basic understanding, CLI, service re-provisioning
- Provision and setup metric in Prometheus, Thanos, and Grafana, alerts and silences
- Provision and setup logs and queries for general questions
- Operating system (Linux) configuration, package management, startup and troubleshooting
- Block and object storage configuration
- Design and deployment of hybrid cloud networking
- Knowledge of cloud Network connectivity (Azure/AWS/GCP)
- Networking VPCs, proxies and CDNs
- Design and deployment of S2S IPSec VPN
- Design and deployment of cloud DNS with integration to on premise
- Design and deployment of firewalls in the cloud
- Design and deployment of network segmentation
- Architecture/administration of LAN technologies - Cisco switches, Cisco ASA/Checkpoint firewalls
- Architecture and administration of network access control systems, including but not limited Cisco ACI , Cisco Firepower, Checkpoint, Aruba Wireless, ClearPass, RSA, F5 Big-IP edge-Client, Gigamon
- Create and maintain network diagrams and document activities
- Work with other IT functional teams for cohesive support of strategies across the organization
- Leverage company Technology / Change Management Planning
- Advanced experience with Cloud Ops, Azure, Cybersecurity, Cisco & Checkpoint Security appliances and firewalls
- Experience with network infrastructure in enterprise datacenter solutions.
- Experience running mid to large scale implementations of Network Access Control technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain and elaborate on technical details
- Ability to assist in troubleshooting and solution design and implementation issues
