Business Analyst

Audubon, PA
JPC is seeking a Business Analyst for our client that will primarily focus on understanding current and future requirements for implementing a 3rd party Identity and Access Management (IAM) tool that will interface with multiple systems and will be used throughout the entire company. This individual will interact with the business users, gather and document requirements, as well as to document application dependencies, and develop use cases.

Specific responsibilities will include but, not be limited to, requirements elicitation, documenting requirements and technical designs, creating a test plan, test approach and test scripts based upon the requirements, and working with the team and stakeholders to ensure that the implementation and migration of data occurs with minimal impact to all current users.
Customer Satisfaction
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business functions and processes
  • Document, review and update business and functional requirements based on client’s feedback
  • Gather requirements and define acceptance criteria leveraging user stories in an agile environment.
  • Ensure appropriate levels of controls are applied to work efforts, including security requirements, effective business solutions
  • Serve as a business liaison between client and project teams
  • Establish, monitor and maintain high client satisfaction levels
  • Document, track and resolve problems in client business systems
  • Analyze, review, and document current structure and  use cases of the application; Analyze and document current application dependencies
  • Serve as a business liaison between clients and project teams to help understand user interaction
  • Assist project manager in better understanding information gathered about user experience
  • Assist in the development of recommendations for redesign of the database
  • Assist business clients in developing requirements for future use cases
  • Assist team in getting the current deliverable in a timely manner; Jump in and assist where needed to accomplish tasks
  • Ability to develop/update existing training materials and support the team as they deliver training to end-users
  • Strong communication skills in working with a team and providing in time updates to project manager.
Skills and Experience
  • Excellent requirements gathering skills and experience
  • Listening to customers and understands their needs
  • Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision
  • Someone who has worked on cross-functional teams, on projects in a matrixed environment
  • Experience working with business and technical staffs to define, document, and track software requirements and design
  • Most recent roles should show increasing responsibility as BA in agile environment
  • Skilled at analyzing data and processes
  • B.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent experience
  • General knowledge of testing methodology (white vs. black box testing, function vs. path testing, etc.)
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and SQL database
  • Experience working with security based platforms for controlling access
  • Experience using HP Quality Center or equivalent test management solutions
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence
