Senior Manager Web & Digital Experience

King of Prussia, PA
JPC is seeking a Sr Manager Web and Digital Experience for our client that will be responsible for the overall direction of the organization’s corporate website and external-facing web properties, creating an optimal, compelling, and personalized audience-first experience. This role will leverage data analytics, personalization strategies, and automation to help increase demand, while strengthening the positioning of our global brand and manage a team of individual contributors and external vendors, comprised in the areas of UX/Web design, Web Architecture, Analytics, and Automation to create a cohesive and connected digital experience, tailored to visitor profiles. Working within an agile framework, this role is accountable to drive the day-to-day work of a cross-functional team ensuring marketing requirements are clearly defined, communicated, and delivered on time.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drives our long-term Web strategy, maturing modern marketing approaches balancing data, technology, design, and customer needs.
  • Collaborates on the development of innovative, segment-relevant omnichannel audience experiences and personalization strategies, customizing messages to multiple visitor segments and personas.
  • Designs analytically driven strategic plans to deliver audience-centric paths that increase quality web traffic, lengthen visitor engagement, improve visitor-to-lead conversion, and fully leverage our web technology stack.
  • Rigorously utilizes analytics to track and manage performance, inform decisions on web site content, priorities and applies keen, real-time understanding of asset consumption, and traffic patterns that drive actions to improve conversion and remedy any shortfalls.
  • Articulates team goals and strategy effectively to senior marketing stakeholders and other core team members quarterly.
  • Employs outside-in perspective with regular user testing and voice of the customer research to inform design solutions and iterative optimization.
  • Strategically leverages our conversational marketing software and personalization platforms to drive better customer experiences across the site so that visitors are engaged with more personalized conversations leading to increased ROI.
  • Uses data-driven insights to deliver strategic improvements across web properties, including optimized customer experiences and user journey definition to drive performance against KPIs.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure that web initiatives are implemented to support business strategies with an eye towards performance and conversion.
  • Informs and participates in business change and readiness conversations so that you understand the impact of changes to our business and can pro-actively translate that into an updated web strategy and roadmap.
  • Fosters an innovative, inclusive and diverse team environment, promoting positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and self-organization.
  • Provides feedback on work-in-progress, clarifies requirements and contributes to removing roadblocks or impediments for your team; looks for opportunities for continuous team and process improvement.
  • Occasional business travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Determine appropriate resourcing of staff in order to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Build an effective leadership team through mentoring and formal education that focuses on management and project management principles.
  • Define annual Key Performance Indicators aligned with corporate goals.
  • Manage and mentor employees and/or managers on performance gaps, career development opportunities, and strategies.
  • Manage and coach employees and/or managers on all human resource related processes including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, selection, terminations, compensation and rewards.
  • Recognize others’ contributions and share credit for success.
  • Own attainment of high employee satisfaction and retention; lead development of program and initiatives within group to attain high employee satisfaction.
  • Prepare and manage budget as assigned; analyzes variances and initiates corrective actions to maximize operational performance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional vision alignment, as well as hands-on coaching capabilities, and ability to deliver large scale technical projects.
  • Highly collaborative with ability to develop and influence digital web strategies and roadmaps that help achieve marketing goals.
  • Demonstrable ability to build and optimize web experiences to maximize efficiency, maintain unparalleled brand consistency, and a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas clearly, and to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, is essential.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated success in navigating complex business issues and technical environment, and proven ability to inspire and build relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ability to Identify, and implement, industry best practices in terms of web strategy, keeping a close eye on emerging technologies and trends.
  • Deep domain expertise with hands-on experience with CMS, SEO, UX design, web analytics, micro-experiences, and related web ecosystem.
  • Must be a self-motivated, team player partnering with various stakeholders and development teams across the organization to contribute to the overall business objectives of the organization.
  • Strong design aesthetic with understanding of what makes a strong user experience.
  • Comfortable in dynamic environment, with keen ability to institute structure and operationalize end-to-end process.
  • Ability to define a digital strategy, translate business goals into tactics and drive team efforts that achieve defined metrics.
  • Strong background with a digital experience across all practice areas including search, web, digital advertising, marketing; with extensive experience with developing state-of-the-art website experiences.
  • Working knowledge of user interface design practices for global B2B companies.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Highly collaborative individual who builds trust & strong relationships at all levels.
  • Proven track record of building a high functioning team.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Ten (10) plus years of Digital Strategy experience supporting web design development, A/B testing, conversion optimization, website accessibility and mobile technology.
  • Four (4) plus years leadership responsibility in direct management of a team of individual contributors.
  • Digital experience across all practice areas including search, web, digital advertising, marketing; with extensive experience with developing state-of-the-art website experiences.
  • Proven leadership experience at medium to large scale global technology companies, preferably with B2B SaaS business models.
  • Experience with user personas, journey mapping, personalization across a journey, ability to understand a content flows and ability to develop a strategy to support this.
  • Proven experience with multi-country and language CMS deployment and integration with translation services.
  • Experience on growth-focused teams driven by experimentation and rapid iteration.
  • Previous experience in a leadership role acting as a change agent with mindset to build, experiment and scale.
  • Experience in marketing automation tools (Pardot/Marketo/Eloqua) and SFDC.
  • Drupal 9 experience a plus.
  • Hands on experience with A/B testing platforms, GTM, Google Analytics, Crazy Egg/Hot Jar, content tools (Gather Content), and personalization platforms.
  • Experience at a Global Public Company a plus.
  • Proven experience to concurrently lead multiple strategic and tactical initiatives.
  • Proven experience driving projects with cross-functional colleagues using iterative development methodologies and A|B testing best practices.
