Apply to ERP Business Systems Analyst
JPC Partners is looking for an ERP Business Systems Analyst with hands-on ERP implementation experience. This resource will work directly with the ERP Project Lead and closely with business SMEs, ERP vendor resources, developers, and IT. You will take ownership of business and technical problems, work them through to resolution, and reduce the day-to-day execution load on the ERP Project Lead. This is not primarily a project coordinator role; we need a problem solver who can be given an outcome and determine how to get there.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of ERP implementation problems and drive them toward resolution rather than waiting for a detailed task list.
- Work directly with subject-matter experts to understand current processes, identify gaps, and translate business needs into workable ERP processes and requirements.
- Support solutioning across order-to-cash, pricing, operations, inventory, integrations, reporting, and other implementation workstreams.
- Help drive customer pricing design and implementation, including business rules, data requirements, testing, issue resolution, and readiness for go-live.
- Organize, cleanse, validate, and reconcile implementation data used for conversion, testing, configuration, and operational readiness.
- Develop clear requirements and specifications for Power BI dashboards and other reporting needs; coordinate with development resources and validate delivered results.
- Coordinate and execute testing/UAT activities, document defects and gaps, drive follow-up, and verify that fixes meet the business requirement.
- Maintain visibility into open issues, dependencies, decisions, risks, and follow-up items and actively pursue owners to keep work moving.
- During later implementation phases, assist with and help oversee EDI implementation: requirements, trading-partner/process mapping, testing, issue resolution, and go-live readiness.
- Escalate true decisions, risks, and roadblocks to the Project Lead with enough analysis to support a decision.
- Prior hands-on experience with at least one ERP implementation; manufacturing or distribution experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong business-process analysis and requirements-development skills.
- Comfort working with both business users and technical resources.
- Good data skills. Advanced Excel is expected; SQL and/or Power BI experience is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP testing, UAT, data conversion, integrations, or implementation troubleshooting.
- Some EDI knowledge or implementation exposure is preferred, but deep EDI specialization is not required.
- Able to learn unfamiliar systems and business processes quickly.
- Strong written documentation and verbal communication skills.
