HRIS Manager

JPC Partners is looking for a strategic and hands-on HRIS Manager that will be responsible for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Human Resources Information System. This pivotal role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and security of HR data while driving system enhancements that directly align with the overarching business objectives. The HRIS Manager will partner cross-functionally with HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to deliver scalable technology solutions that support compliance and significantly enhance the employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary administrator for the global HRIS (Ceridian Dayforce), ensuring optimal system configuration, performance, and functionality.
  • Lead the planning, implementation, and testing of new modules, system upgrades, and functionality enhancements within the system.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive roadmap for HRIS improvements that are aligned with organizational goals and the broader HR strategy.
  • Manage, configure, and maintain core Dayforce modules, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Compensation Management, and Performance Reviews.
  • Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of HR data through rigorous audits, validation processes, and meticulous documentation of system procedures and controls.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training, user procedures, and guidelines to promote effective system usage and accurate data entry across the organization.
  • Design, build, and maintain essential standard and custom reports, dashboards, and organizational charts to provide critical insights to HR, Finance, and executive leadership.
  • Translate complex business needs into actionable data analysis and reporting tools, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Partner closely with HR, Payroll, IT, and other stakeholders to troubleshoot system issues, implement effective solutions, and ensure seamless data flow and integration across various platforms.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Ceridian Dayforce and other external HRIS vendors, managing support tickets, monitoring service levels, and escalating complex issues to resolution.
  • Monitor and enforce robust data security protocols and access controls to safeguard sensitive employee information.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, and audit logs within Dayforce to ensure strict compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HRIS processes to enhance efficiency, streamline workflows, and improve the overall user experience.
  • Lead initiatives focused on automating manual processes and implementing HR technology best practices across the organization.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of progressive experience managing Human Resources Information Systems. Ceridian Dayforce expertise strongly desired.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data management principles, and system integrations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, lead cross-functional teams, and effectively drive change within an organization.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, macros, and lookup tables).
  • Highly Valued Skills (Preferred):
    • Advanced SQL skills
    • Advanced XML skills
    • Excellent Power BI proficiency
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
