Data Analyst
Audubon, PAJPC Partners is looking for a Data Analyst that will provide expertise in developing solutions and models for forecasting and for conducting analysis using real-time series data to support System Operations. Working on the Markets Coordination department, this role helps to provide critical information such as day-ahead load and renewable information and forecasts that influence the operating plan. The data analyst function will develop performance metrics and improvement strategies including but not limited to developing or enhancing models and assisting the team in evaluating potential solutions.

- Identifying, creating, and preparing data required for analysis and visualization
- Assuring that data is cleansed, mapped, transformed, and optimized for storage and use according to business and technical requirements
- Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing automation of tasks
- Loading transformed data into storage and reporting structures such as data warehouses, real-time reporting systems and analytics applications
- Building data models and an understanding of learning algorithms
- Drawing conclusions from data analysis and assessing recommendations
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in data science and/or data analysis
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or similar
- Experience working with large and complex data sets; big data projects
- Knowledge/Experience with SQL and Python/PySpark strongly preferred
- Knowledge/Experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Java preferred
- Knowledge of Purview, Snowflake, Qlik, or Tableau preferred
- Performance/security-oriented data modeling and data design, including partitions, different type of indexes, views, and most effective data management practices preferred
