JPC Partners is looking for a Senior Business Analyst that will be primarily focused on understanding current design and future requirements for existing websites that have integrations with multiple applications and are being used by multiple internal departments, members and the public. This individual will interact with the business users to gather and document requirements, as well as document application dependencies. This individual will drive strategic initiatives, analyze business requirements, and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions. Specific responsibilities will include but not be limited to, requirements elicitation, documenting requirements and technical designs based upon the requirements in an Agile environment, and working with the team and stakeholders to ensure that website and software updates are made with minimal impact to all current users. Develop a deep understanding of the business functions and processes
Document, review and update business and functional requirements based on client’s feedback
Serve as a business liaison between client and project teams
Establish, monitor and maintain high client satisfaction levels
Document, track and resolve problems in client business systems
Ensure appropriate levels of controls are applied to work efforts, including security requirements, effective business solutions
Responsibilities
Develop and document requirements in collaboration business clients
Maintain traceability of requirements throughout the SDLC
Serve as a business liaison between business SMEs and product teams
Analyze, review, and document current structure and use cases of the application including integrations and dependencies
Assist project manager in better understanding information gathered about user experience
Assist business clients in developing and prioritizing requirements for future use cases
Use strong communication skills when working with a team, a subject matter expert (SME) and providing in time updates to project manager.
Facilitate workshops, presentations, requirements reviews, and regular updates to keep stakeholders informed.
Validate solutions through supporting the QA support in testing to ensure quality deliverables.
Support emergency system outage and recovery as requested
Skills and Experience
Someone who has worked on large teams, on projects that have different business owners
Someone who has worked on cross-functional teams, on projects in a matrixed environment
Most recent roles should show increasing responsibility as BA in agile environment
Skilled at documentation best practices such as using revision history/version control
Skilled at analyzing data and processes
Proficiency in Confluence and Jira
Experience working with business and technical staffs to define, document, and track requirements and design
Someone who is energetic and passionate about their work, extremely positive and solution driven
Proactive to ask questions early and often to gain understanding
Detail oriented
Excellent requirements gathering skills and experience
Active listening to customers and understands their current processes and needs
Ability to work independently, with minimum supervision
B.S. degree in computer science, management information systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
