Director of Project Management

Plano, TX
JPC Partners is looking for a Director of Project Management that will work closely with the IT team, business stakeholders, and 3rd party vendors to manage transformational technology projects to successful outcomes. This role will define and train the organization on an enterprise project management methodology.
Responsibilities and Expectations: 
  • Set the standard for project management through the development and implementation of an enterprise project management methodology.
  • Proactively identify and solve complex problems through effective risk management.
  • Create alignment and promote transparency through effective communication including project status meetings, steering committee updates, and department meetings.
  • Serve as an agent for change by identifying opportunities to implement processes and technology that transform the business.
  • Manage vendors by communicating issues in delivery and holding them accountable for deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies
  • Strong problem identification and solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong consulting skills to understand stakeholder needs (internal and external) and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Strong collaboration and relationship building skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
  • Experience leading a CRM system implementation, preferably SFDC.
Education and Experience:
  • 3-5 years’ managing enterprise-wide technology projects following a formal project management methodology.
  • Experience managing 3rd party vendors.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree and 7-10 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
