Data Engineer
Malvern, PAJPC Partners is looking for a Data Engineer that will support the Data Warehouse, Data Teams, and will be responsible for:
- Development and ongoing maintain of data processes within Talend Enterprises
- Troubleshoot and correct identified failures during daily processing
- Support the Data warehouse team with processes for automation of Data loads
- Support the Data Reporting team with development of processes for Scheduled reporting
- Support to the Talend Administrator monitoring scheduled tasks
- Critical Thinker with a strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Good communication - verbal and written - with the ability to coordinate and communicate between data warehouse and reporting teams
- Strong work ethic with a sense of ownership, accountability and urgency
- Ability to balance an attention to detail with meeting deadlines
- 5-7 years experience as a data engineer for a data warehouse
- 5-7 years of writing complex SQL code
- 5-7 years of working in an environment that follows an agile development process
- 3-5 years development with Talend
- Snowflake experience
- Creating ETL processes using an ETL tool such as Talend or SSIS
- Experience working in financial services, preferably banking
- Data Architecture
- Experience with API’s
